Launch of the Peoples' Educational Forum
Join us for the launch of the Peoples’ Educational Forum on the British Empire (PEFBE), an independent, people-led initiative connecting the histories of British imperialism with the inequalities and institutions shaping our lives today.
Thursday 8 October, 14:00 - 15:30 BST
During this 90-minute event, we will introduce PEFBE, explore how empire connects contemporary struggles across climate, gender, migration, labour, health, and economic justice, and share our plans for developing the website into a collaborative educational platform.
Most importantly, the launch is an invitation to help shape the Forum. We want participants to bring experience from their own communities and tell us what would make PEFBE genuinely useful to movements working towards meaningful repair.
